full body workout Vs walking

First of all if this is in the wrong section I apologise.

It may not be comparable but how far or for how long would someone have to walk to burn the same amount of cals during a 75 min full body workout?
 
A lot. On average I burn 300 calories during a 45 minute session. Figure maybe 500 for 75 minutes...that's probably 2-3 hours of 4mph walking.
 
Is there a semi-reliable way to calculate how many calories one can burn when weight training (full body workout).

It's always something i've struggled to calculate, so have to estimate as best as I can.
