frustrated.....

Heah there, I have been working out again for about three weeks. I started doing plitates, yoga, walking, and a few other things. I am close to thirty and thrive to look the way again that makes me feel good. Everyone says that I shouldn't be so critical of myself, but I can't help it. Anyways, I would like to know why my abnominal area is getting soooo bulged up? It is solid pretty much, but it is expanding outward and not shrinking. I had a c-section with my first child 11 years ago, and I don't know if it is because I am working all those muscles they cut through or if it is because I am working them so much more now....please help...it is really starting to bring me down....

Well its probably more your diet than anything. Three weeks is a shorttime to really see a difference. Are you lifting weights , if not start. Get on a good routine and that will make a huge difference. Ihad my c-section 5 years ago and 1 child after that. I lift (alot heavier than you will ever want to prob) and I look better now than I did before I had my boys. I weight more than I ever have but my bf% is really low. You need to set your goals in cycles and hit one at a time and you'll have success in no time. good luck . search around the site and you will find hoards of info to help you along. you may want to post your stats and goals and typical diet and exercise routines down, so you can get better help. The more info you give the more help you can get.. :)

In the past, c-sections (caesarean) used a vertical incision which cut the uterine muscle fibers. Modern ones usually involve a horizontal incision along the muscle fibers and therefore do not actually cut any muscle tissue.

Eliminate trans fats from your diet, drink more water, and workout your transverse abdominis.

I sound like a broken record...
