frustrated and lost for ideas

Hi all,

6 weeks ago i changed my lifstyle, with a combo of sensible diet, jogging and a dailey workout i have lost 14 pounds within the last 21 days. Great news and I feel so good inside and stronger and healthier. One problem though, were has the weight gone from ? I started this new lifestlye to get rid of the bulging stomach and ok i guess it is flatter a bit, but still retain the pregnant look and the buldge that goes around the waistline.

What am I doing wrong ? I eat well even after reducing calorie intake to 1250 per day, zero alchohol, jogging every 2 days, and workout dailey, sometimes twice, of push ups,sit ups, squats, various crunches, shadow boxing with rapid burst, and streching, ( all increasing in numbers as i push myself more) and I cycle everywere now daily.

Im not after the 6pack thing just a flatter stomach, any1 has any ideas I would be most gratefull of anything or is it a case of when you hit 30+ in life everthing seems to pull with gravity

regards
mike

The main problem with guys getting rid of that bulge is that with guys that is the first place fat goes (with women it tends to be the hips and ass) BUT it is even worse because it is the last place you are likely to lose it from. Sure overall you technically lose from everywhere at once, but the visible loss of that bulge will typically be last. A friend of mine went through a major lifestyle change and went from 305 to 175. He's now running marathons (yeah i thought the same thing). He is currently preparing for #4. He swears by spinning classes...they burn an incredible amouth of calories and if you keep up your protien intake and regular workout, but cut your calories while doing it I'm pretty sure that you could potentially lose that extra bit-o-fat.

Hope I didn't screw anything up there. If so I'm sure someone will correct me before then tomorrow night :D Anyways, hope this helps a little at least. Good luck

Mike

You are definatly not doing anything wrong. You have combined a sensible diet with what sounds like a good exercise program. I guess my only addition to the comment that Mike made, is to be patient. It takes time, but if you stay doing what you are doing, you will get there.

1500 calories and under is starvation mode.
You need to be patient. Your seeing good results then keep doing it.
If you list your entire diet and workout plan day by day I can help more.
