Hey everyone, i have thoroughly enjoyed looking at all of your pictures and seeing the transformations you have all made.

My story begins as a football player in high school that was used to eating 5-7000 calories a day to keep up with constant weight lifting and exercise. I graduated high school a moderately lean but still chubby 265 pounds. I then went to college where beer and pizza were my daily diet and i blew up to 300 by the end of my sophomore year, lost weight to 255 (atikins)then went back as a senior and boom blew up to 330 after student teaching.

Well last fall i decided i was sick of it and got on a low calorie, low carb high protein diet and started on the first day of school (im a teacher) and by the time i went to las vegas for spring break 2007 i had lost around 65 pounds. Much healthier and was content for a while. I put on a few pounds over the summer this last year and currently reside around 275 and am starting stage two of the thinner me this week (sending it off irish wake style today with some sicilian pizza). My goals are 25 pounds by jun 27th which is about 12 pounds a month.

I have posted pictures from last year in a collage, i dont really have a shirtless one at 330 and apologize for the fat shirtless white dude but these are the only pics i have. Be happy i have pants on hehehe.

The 309 picture was halloween 2006 and the 272 was march 2007. The clothed pictures was me at a little over 330 in may of 2006 and 270ish april 2007 in the mgm grand bathroom haha.

Great progress so far! You have motivation and a plan - the 2 ingredients for success. Keep it up and you will keep right on shrinking! You will indeed be very handsome as you approach your goal...

cheers

Thansk guys, the hardest part is motivation, my school has had a weight loss contest the last couple years which made it easy, competition is a great motivator, but now it is over and i am looking for internal motivation not external which is a bit more difficult to attain for me.

But i look forward to the journey as i look forward to having a long life.

ur not the only one u know. honestly that happens to most people, and right now its happening to me. but@da end of the day it depends on will power and how desperate the person is to get fit and healthy. There is a saying that "Every day I am improving my health, my looks and my well-being. I am getting stronger in every way." so dont think ur jus losing weight but think about how ur getting stronger and healthier in other ways too. and if others can lose weight then why cant you.

My best friend from high school is getting married at the end of june and i would love to look better when i show up for that so i am hoping that helps motivate me, but we will see.

im just sick of chicken lol

Thanks for the kind words to those of you though

Thanks people, i dont really feel like its been much of a difference so its nice to hear people say that there is one.

I hope to lose another 25 before summer and another 50-60 by next halloween
