So these are my pics starting at around 255-ish? to 163. I started in Jan. 2004 and got down to 165.5 within a year and a half. Then it happened...a plateau. Not like a little plateau, but a over 2 1/2 years ( I spent that time bouncing around 175). Then, since Christmas 2007, I have lost an additional 2 1/2 pounds. That may not sound like alot, but has re-energized me psychologically. My 10 year reunion is coming up this summer and would like to be 155 by then (fingers crossed) =)!! Moral of the story....don't give up, even when you think that your body is fighting against you with all of its might.

size 22 to 10

Bouncewed,
I am about 5'7" and was a size 22 at my highest and am a size 10 pants size (although I bought some pants that were size 8 this weekend.....I even started crying in the dressing room) I don't think that I would have fit into a size 8 when I was age 8?!?!.

Looking great! I'm jealous of all your progress! I wish I could hit the fast forward on mine somehow, lol...Great job!

I am so happy for you. I want to drop down approx 80-90 lbs or to a size 7/8, but I am so worried about lose skin and if it will bounce back after a couple of years.

You have really inspired me, Like no other person on this site... How did you manage to keep going? What inspired you? What habits did you change?

Yay hot stuff! You've got a little Lisa Loeb going on too. So gorgeous!

Love the scarf too. My BF is in Chicago today for business and he said it was cold and flurrying.

Stay warm and keep up the great work!

:eek2:WOW! What an INCREDIBLE transformation! Very well done!

You have worked so hard to improve your health, and especially deserve congratulations for hanging in there during a veeeeeery long and I am sure depressing plateau! It seems you've kicked it now, girlfriend!

Best wishes on the rest of your journey - YOU CAN DO IT!!!

Cheers, ABBA

Just a quick update.....on 3/2/08 i hit my initial weight loss goal of 100lbs!! Hooray!! So I am officially now 155lbs. (down from 255), which I promptly celebrated by buying 2 pair of size 8 jeans. That's right...a single digit!!!!
