Freshieee- Needs advice to start a healthy lifestyle!

Heeeey Everyone!
I'm totally new to this, but excited and motivated to learn as much as i can here!

If anyone could share some good starting tips, on how to diet healthy i'd really appreaciate it!

Here's a short Bio of Moi and my eating habits.
I'm a student and basically I live at school because i'm always there doing work. So I tend to eat out alot, and I have to say I have the poorest eating habits! I'm constantly craving for fried foods, especially fries!! And coke! i knooow lol therefore i've been gaining alot of weight.

But this semester, an attempt to start saving money and leading a healthier lifestyle.
I've been trying to cut down on what I eat, usually I just drink water and have a small meal during school, and then try to cut back on my portions at dinner.
But i just been feeling really weak, and even dizzy if i try to work out on my treadmill... i also get a really bad migraine if i eat less. So i still i have to find that balance.

More than anything i just want to learn how i can start eating right and lose a bit of weight without feeling completely drained.

Welcome to the site -if you spend some time reading the stickied threads about the forum you'll get lots of good tips on proper nutrition and exercise...

If you're getting dizzy and feeling weak -sounds like you need some work nutrition wise... eating right doesn't mean starving yourself.. it means cutting bback just enough...

what are you hoping to accomplish??? for me it is important to lose because i am sick of being a wallflower... i dont assert myself and i feel like i MUST be nice to everyone around me otherwise i might be ridiculed... lol... sorry i didnt mean to become soo serious... but anyways... good luck!!!

Yeah reading some of the other threads really helped me figure what i'm doing wrong. Especially after reading this article about "How to gain body fat," which was really interesting to read cuz it starts of by telling you everything you need to do to gain weight, lol it's kinda like reverse psychology

but i got it, eating two meals a day is noooot enough, and is workin against me because my body just goes to starvation mode and stores the fat
So i'll need to eat more often! and have more of a balanced diet.

so i think i get it now! daaang i'm really learnin alot here lol

And my goal is to lose about 15 lbs and i'm about 5'1 and weigh 125 lbs now but more than anything i just want to start eating more healthy and feeling good about my self.
 
its good that your learning alot... is your name actually hope??? just wondering because thats my middle name... and i thought you login name was cute!!!
