Hey all, my name's Phillipa, 25 years old, 6ft tall, 12st(ish) lass.
I'm here to get some motivation and advice and just general encouragement for my planned weight loss and fitness.
Back in the day I used to be quite a fit girl, well toned etc but over the last couple of years I got "comfortable" (as did my fiance!) and we both put on a bit of weight.
I used to weigh about 10.5st and I would weight train on a daily basis on my own regimes I would create and adjust to my personal level of fitness. Nowadays things have been a bit stressful and I've binged on comfort food, cigarettes and chocolate. Bad I know but those are my go to's.
I have just been writing up myself a new regime and "diet" I guess you could say, I don't really do diets and I've never been one for having 3 meals a day, I eat when I'm hungry which is normally in the evening about 5/6pm.
So what I have written up is a basic weight training routine for a months worth of progress, with 15 minutes of rowing to start off (warm up). The total routine should take about an hour per day, with 2 days off per week to let my muscles recover.
I have set myself a diet plan of mainly fish and salads for dinner with weetabix (without sugar) before my workout. In between this I plan to drink lots more water, hoping about 4 pints a day.
On my days off, I would normally go to town and walk around to get shopping etc, so I won't be doing nothing.
I have my own equipment at my house in the spare room, so I don't have to pay for the gym.
So basically my aim is to lose 1stone in a month with this workout and eating habit and I will cut out the chocolate eating and I've given up smoking. Hopefully after 1 month, I will start feeling fitter and I can go for a jog each evening before bed.
I have plans to take weekly weight loss notes and photos to track my progress and to keep me on it essentially.
If anyone has any advice they would like to share or anything like that, feel free
Sorry for the MASSIVE intro but I've been really down about myself and my weight lately and really want to get back to a comfortable weight that I'm happy with.
So yeah, that's me, hi
Hope to hear from some of you soon,
Phillipa.
