I am sorry, now I have confused myself and you guys I think. When I said I do not want to bulk up, I meant I do not want to get muscle mass like a Ms. Universe.

I am trying to loose weight and build definition. By definition I mean, a firm, body...with firm defined abs. LOL, I sit here and think...is it possible. LOL!! Ex. Tammy Lee Webb comes to mind.

Ooops! I did mean to say, that at the gym they told me to do 15-20 reps and no more than 1-2 sets.

Ok, hope that helps...so what are your suggestions with the correct information.

Thanks a bunch guys.

i agree with what you were told...im guessing that was a personal trainer saying that, who probably knows his stuff better than i do. :D

My old post still stands then. 3-5 sets of 3-5 reps with heavier weight than you would do with 15-20 reps. I don't care for that style of training at all. Best would be to do your exercises in a circuit. Go from exercise to exercise with minimal rest to keep your heart rate up a bit. Use perfect form. Start a log book.
