Hey! My name is Adam and i'm from Sweden, but since a few weeks ago i'm living in United States due to work. I probably misspelll a little but i hope thats fine.
I started powerlifting when i was young, 14 years old and have trained my hole life since that. When i turned 19 i weighted 145kg (320lb) I was strong, i competed in bench, deadlift and squat. At this time i never cared about my weight going up and up aslong i got stronger and could lift more.
One day i saw myself in the mirror tho and decided i cant continue like this. I was strong but my condition was so bad, i got out of breath from most simples tasks like taking the bike to the supermarket. After i decided to loose weight it went quite easy, i trained like normal (5 times a week like before) but completly changed the food i ate.
Now im 85kg (185lb) im happy with that weight and planing on keeping it. I still compete, or did. Before i moved to US, trying to get settled here now.
Im little of a forumnerd and enjoy browsing them so i hope to help around!
