I have a thread up in before/after/in right now which is kind of a journal but not really. Most current pics are on page 4.

Just wanted to stop in here and say hi.
Summary of the mini-novel in that thread:
I had spinal surgery in feb. of 05 and after recovery, it never bothered me. That is, until late 2011. I couldn't for the life of me figure out what was different. Then I stepped on a scale. I weighed in @ 308.6lbs on 2/16/12. I have always loved soda, junk, and pc gaming. A terrible combination alone but, paired with a desk job, it spells disaster. I stopped making excuses and started on my journey.
My wife chose to join me and it has helped me tremendously.
We cleaned up our diet, and I started on cardio at home. After about 6 months, I finally headed to the gym.
Her losses have been with no added activity(she works a somewhat physical job), and diet change alone has gotten her to where she is.
My stats
Starting weight: 308.6lbs
Current Weight: 236.4lbs
Total loss: 72.2lbs
Primary goal: 190-200lbs
Secondary goal: not sure yet
and since wifey is on the journey too;
her stats:
start: 237.6lbs
current: 181.4lbs
Total loss: 56.2lbs
Household loss to date: 128.4lbs
I am shooting for another 10lbs by Thanksgiving(I killed it this week and dropped from 244.x to 236.4) but I expect this upcoming week to be less. 10lbs by Turkey day SHOULD be cake. mmmmm cake. If I hit my mini goals, specifically -20lbs by xmas, I will be less than 10lbs from joining the 100lb losers club
