Food=Bigger Arms or Bigger Gut

hey,

i have been reading posts on this site for awhile now and i have learned alot. I have been working out and eating healthy for the last month and a bit. My question is does all that healty eating go to your arms or just your stomach. I have notice a bit of an improvement in my arms and i was wondering if all that food was spread out through your body or just the gut.

thanks for any help.

Too much of carbs, fat, protein=fat storage
Nutrients needed=shuttled where needed
Nutrients not needed=excreted

This is a very very very basic explanation. But to answer your question, no...X nutrients don't get sent to your arms.

so is there anyway i can make my arms bigger, or am i going to have to work with what ive got?

by the way i am greatful for the help you are giving me.

Arms typically grow in proportion with the rest of the body. Arms are typically slower to show results from than say growing out of your jeans because of squats or needing new shirts due to shoulders because of push presses. Just keep plugging away at them and they will grow.

Most trainees with large arms have been plugging away at the gym for years.

doing rows and chinups will make your arms grow more than isolation bicep curls.

as will pullups, deadlifts, and squats. heavy compound moves should be the core of your routine.

Thanks for the advice.

Last Question: I have been eating about 3000 cal's per day of healthy food and i was noticing my stomach was getting a little bit round. I want to get bigger but not in my stomach. Should I continue to eat like this or should I go back to my regular eating habits.
