fixing crooked abs...

I still have a bit of stomach fat to lose but I am able to see my top 2 right abs and my top left ab. this also means that my right side is alot higher than my left and the top left ab is also alot bigger than my right abs. and when i pull my stomach fat down, i can clearly see that my 2nd right ab is about 1-2 inches above my belly button, while my 2nd left ab will be near the belly button. if it was just slightly crooked i wouldn't mind, but my abs are almost 2 inches off balance... what can i do to fix it?

nothing....

Muscle shape is in your genetic make up. Your muscles are like a deflated ball. As the ball inflates, it gets bigger, however, it won't become square. As your abs getting worked out, they will get bigger, however they won't change shape!

And besides...they're only abs, don't obsess!

BTW...
That website link makes me wanna PUKE! Do people really care that their abs are off target by a half an inch? It's sounds like these people are dealing with a terminal illness!

mike's right, ab shape/symmetry is genetic, as are abs that pop out (six-pack). some people genetically will never have a very noticable 6-pack...some only havea 4-pack...other's have 8!

strive for the best you can do naturally, and know that you're doing better than about 80% of the US population (since 60% are obese, we'll assume another 20% aren't fit enough to have tight abs that pop out)

well...everyone has 8 abdominal heads, some people's just don't show. its like how some people have tight compact biceps and some people have long biceps...there's nothing you can do to change it.

thanks for clarifying me Mike. aside from a genetic mutation, yes we all have the same number of muscle heads....genetics just determines how many of the heads really stand out.
