Here these last 4 days, I have spent at least 4 hours per day (nonstop) either doing housework, or working outside on my deck. I still have a few more days of working on the deck, but I'm not sure I'm getting in enough exercise. I'm sure there isn't enough cardio, but I don't know if my back could handle additional exercise on top of all the bending, scrubbing, lifting, scrubbing etc.
Do you think it's ok to not exercise when doing these kind of activities? Or should I make the time for the additional running or strength training?
Today, I have to start staining the deck, and I'm sure it's going to be a long painful process. Plus it's 88 degrees now with a high of 96.
