Fitting cheese in with weight loss

So, I'm cutting calories (trying to stay within 1500-1800), eating 5-6 meals a day, kickboxing 3 times a week, and pilates 3 times a week - obviously trying to lose weight. But, I love me some cheese. And cottage cheese just isn't cutting it for me. Not that I frequently "cut the cheese"...When it comes to weight-loss, should I just cut cheese out of my diet until I'm at my goal weight, or is there a feasible way to fit it in without cutting an entire meal out? Also, I snack on almonds for 2 of those meals (along with fruit and water) - does that work? Are nuts a good idea at all? I hear they're high in fat or some such thing.

Nuts are high in fat, but in good fats. Thus, you can eat 'em, and they are good for you, but you need to eat them in moderation.

Cheese is fine, but it you're working on seriously restricting calories, just go for the low-fat variety.

i didn't go "back" to hard cheese until after i had finished losing the weight...and even now i hardly use any.....it's really fattening!!!!!!!! even the low cal stuff!!!!!!

Just moderate your cheese consumption. It tastes amazing and it's dairy.
Get the low fat, as everyone says, and enjoy life and the fact that you will still lose weight!
