Fitness Problems

This is my status & problem(s).

I am 5' 10 and 190 lbs. I don't know my body fat %. I eat like 2-3 meals a day(Dinner and after school. sometimes lunch). I am trying to eat 5 meals a day. I eat about 2000 cal a day. My goal is 160-170 lbs. I don't want to be a body builder or a wieght lifter. I want to do both.

I do about 7 min of moderate cardio five times a week. I do about weight lifting for 20-60 mins five or six times a week.

My routine:

Mon - Cardio / Chest / Tri / Shoulders
Tue - Cardio / Bi / Back
Wed - Cardio/ Lifting Off
Thu - Cardio / Abs
Fri - Cardio / Bi / Back
Sat - Chest / Tri / Shoulders
Sun - Off a week / On a week (abs)

Do legs whenever available. but do squats and calves raises everday.

Also I had a few questions. I hope this is not inappriotiate but for health and/or diet reasons, how many times should I take a "dump" per day? My friend is a weight lifter and he goes 5 times a day. What does "tense" your abs mean like when you do crunches, people say when on top tense your abs.

I know that there is a lot screwed up about my routine and food consumption. All I was wondering if anyone can help me. Any advice is highly appreciated.

8 Minutes of cardio? What are you doing for cardio? And you need to do at least 30 to 45 minutes of cardio at a time. Most people need at least 10 minutes to get ones heart rate into the ideal zone to burn fat so 8 minutes isn't going to do anything.

Also you need to have more than 2-3 meals a day. Have 4-6 and make them small. Drink plenty of water.

And go to GNC and buy some MEGA-MEN Vitamins they are a must.
 
I do 7 min cardio b/c of gym class at school that how much we have to run and I do it at a modurite rate. If I was able to do more of coarse I would. But after the run we usually do a sport after for one hour. I hate to admit this but I can't really do more than a 7 min moderate jog.
 
If you are looking to lose 20-30lbs, then you are probably going to have to change your diet, and start doing more a proper cardio workout. HIIT training would be your best bet as it generally doesn't take as long as LIT. But a good diet should be your main goal with a good bit of protein.
 
define good diet. b/c mine consist of 5 meals a day and 2000 cal a day. my meals usually consist of:

Morning (8:00) - Muffin, 1 cup of OJ, 1 cup of milk
Lunch (11:45-12:00) - Sandwhich
After school (400) - muffin or something cookin, 2 16.9 floz of water
Forth meal (7:00) - w/e cookin
Fifth meal (10:00) - w/e cookin

i tried HIIT but still scruggling but I will continue doin it. i really can't do running for more than 8 mins.
 
Don't squat everyday.. Do this:

Day1 - Cardio / Chest / Tri / Shoulders
Day2- Off
Day3 - Cardio/ Bi / Back
Day4 - Cardio / Legs

Rinse & Repeat.

Triceps are supposed to be 2/3 of your arm, as opposed to the bicep(1/3).
 
thx i only prob is that i have to be off on wed and sun. i cant workout on those days. my father wouldnt allow. its sucks his genes are better than mine. in like a week he had huge arms and big chest but a bit of a stomach. i think i got a bad metabolish but i'm a slow progressor.
