i can tell you this website has a lot of very good content for you to use. you can also watch video tutorials on youtube.com but my best suggestion for you will be to have a personal trainer coming to your home once a week. having a proffesional teaching you the basics would be the best advice for you.
you can tell your PT what are your goal and build togather a long term strategy. have a meeting once a week and ask him for "home work".
it wont cost as much as a monthly subscription at the gym and i think it will be more efficient.
