Hey there to everyone on WLF!! Some may remember me from last year.Here I am again. A new year has begun and I never reached my desired weight goal. I hit a plateau after losing 13kilos last year maintained that weight for 6months before I lost heart and gave up.When I say maintained, this was still following the same weight loss plan,not a maintenance plan.I even gained 6 of those kilos back over the Christmas period.

So I came to terms with the fact that it simply wasnt the plan for me. But this year I think I may have found the plan that is going to work for me, help me achieve my goals. I am now into the fourth week on my new plan and have lost 5.7kg and 22.5cm. Love it!!

I sincerely mean it when I say no matter how slow the weight may come off I will not give up this time. Its a lifestyle change for the better.

Below you will see the first entry from my previous journal.I thought it be best to start a new one.Same story but different method this time!




What can I say I have been battling the bulge for the last 12 years more so in the last 3 years and with that battle comes my serious self esteem issues. But no more, I have reached breaking point....even leading up to my wedding I only managed to lose 10 kilos. No more yoyo dieting, I am determined and I am going to gut this out, reach my goal weight and maintain it!!

Anyways, I started the Cohen's Lifestyle program on Monday just gone, I am aiming to lose 34 kg by New Years Eve! With the support of my husband and my new found friends here in the forum, I know I can do it!!
I will weigh in weekly keeping everyone up to date with my losses!

2skinny,Yeah I love the title too. I wanted something that truly described what my weight loss journey was about. People lose weight for a lot of reasons.When I started, it was more about gaining back my self confidence, getting my body to match my personality!FOXY!!

No cravings, never hungry and plenty of energy!!
 
Well yesterday was great, another day off. I started the day off as I do any other day. Getting Miss Seven ready for school! After dropping her off, I came home had some brekky. Slipped Pink-Funhouse Tour:Live in Australia into the pc and jumped on my treadmill for 40 minutes. I then did 3 x 12reps of sit ups. I felt great. Master Four and I then ventured off down to the shops to do the weekly groceries. Also stocked up on my Musashi 92, but I thought I would give the Chocolate flavour a try.I also grabbed a couple Aussie Bodies HPLC Bars just to try them out.
At home unpacking when my best friend who I have known since I was 7, video called me on Skype. Her first words were "looking good,gibbs" I was stoked!! But what really made my day was Little Miss Seven this morning told me "Mummy, youre getting skinnier!" I love my kids!

Today was like any other running around like a headless chook to get the kids of to school in time! It was so nice to come home to the peace and quiet of my home, sit down and enjoy my breakfast and morning coffee. Then off to work, I now manage a small music store, I really do love-my- job! Dad came and saw my at work, haven't seen him for a couple of weeks and he was quite amazed how much weight I have lost. Yah for me!!!Picked up the kids after work, came home, got dinner on the go. Hubby left to play mixed netball, I jumped on my treadmill, P!nk playing in the background. All part of my day to day life,for the rest of my days!

OMG!! After my shower this morning I made a discovery or should I say a rediscovery!! I have rediscovered my ribs, they have not made an appearance since before my first pregnancy 8 years ago. And my collar bone now can be seen daily not once in a blue moon.I am very impressed with myself.My self esteem is growing in leaps and bounds. I am really starting to enjoy my walks on my treadmill again. Next week I may incorporate some interval training.I think I may have to invest in some more music dvds. I currently have three, two of which are P!nk, both concerts I saw live.As much as I love her, I think I need to mix it up, I dont want to grow bored! Late night trading tonight so I dont know if I will get on tonight to log my food diary!!

Yeah, I did buy it. $150AU well spent!! Just look at my food diaries and see what I eat. You start by depleting your body of carbs for three days eating only protein. After that you are allowed a carb serve with your breakfast.Its a lot of detail to put in one post.....I will explain it as I go along.


Sooooooooooo tired!! Need coffee! *Sips black coffee*Aaaaaaahhhhh, thats better! Can't believe it, I couldnt get to sleep last night and this morning hubby was up at 5:00 making such a racket.I am so not a morning person, I have always said I'm not an early bird but a night owl.
It was pretty flat out at work last night.Even when I finally shut my roller doors I still had people banging on the door."Dude, read the sign I was suppose to close 20mins ago" Dumbass!
Had a friend come visit me at work and he asked how my diet is going?? "Kris, it's not a diet it's a change of lifestyle but it's awesome!!"
I know this is a weird entry but I am in a weird mood this morning must be the lack of sleep.

Well, my life is pretty boring. Nothing exciting to report. I actually have a lot on my mind but the truth is I am just too nice, honestly I am, I too often put others best interests first rather my own.
But on the BodyTrim front I have been awesome sticking to it 100%. I was hoping to up the ante this week with interval training havent as of yet but first thing tomorrow thats what I will be doing!

Finished work not too long ago, another day,another a hundred more idiots!! Well one more day and I will officially be manager. My own boss!I like the sound of that.
My little man is sick again,flu or chest infection or something!Did my walk/jog just before lunch, didnt really enjoy it had Master 4 whinging at me every couple of minutes.

Poor little sick boy. Kids just aren't good at being sick, are they? Come to think of it, we'd all rather just stay well all the time. I hope he is soon over it.

Howdy!! Yesterday was my free day, weighed in still no loss on the scales but another 5 cm gone. I wasn't planning on blowing it out too much but I decided at lunch what the hell I am going to have some pasta!! It was soooo good but was very well behaved and only had a tiny serve. Last night I went to an undercover wear party, I thought this would be a good opportunity to pick out a piece of clothing as incentive. So I bought this gorgeous bustier in a size 14. One size smaller than I am at the moment, next reward already sorted.Protein only day today and I actually am going out for dinner, I think I am going to look a little odd ordering a steak and only steak, no side with that thanks!

Not even a quarter into the novel Wicked and it is already seeming with scandal-LOVE IT!!!

Well as you know I normally have a weekly motivational song, whilst seeking out one for this week. I found not only a motivational song but the theme song for my BodyTrim journey.

First day as manager went well, mind you the store was soooooo quiet!!
More and more things happen in town to good people,more and more frequently. I just cant wait to get out of this town. Three friends of ours were beaten up on Friday night at the pub, 3 onto 15, a fair fight?? I think not!! One of them ended up with over 20 stitches in his face and has a broken jaw.
The new manager in the surf shop across the way from my store had a teenage girl try and steal all her laybys but she managed to wrestle most of the merchandise off the girl. So she then proceeded to knock over the glasses cabinet and the sale sign!!!Thats only naming things that have happened over this weekend!Oh well!

That's a bit too much excitement on your weekend, Casey! But I'm glad your first day as manager went well. I hope things stay nice and quiet for you.
 
I know it has been over a week since I posted but life as manager is pretty hectic, yet I am still managing to stay 100% compliant to my new lifestyle.It will take a while for my body to get use to working 6 day weeks again, its been awhile!!! I have finished my novel Wicked and also finished a second onw last night, The Murder of King Tut by James Patterson, awesome!!

Well yesterday was rather interesting, got the kids off to school as per usual and headed into work a little early so I could pick up a skinny flat white before I started. Anyway as I was about to open my shutters the power goes out and not just mine the whole shopping centre and half the town.After talking to centre management and horizon power we were informed power wouldnt be back on til 1.30pm!!! So I locked up and went home, power was back on 45 minutes later, thank goodness.Had so much to do the morning flew past in a blur!! Got tonnes of stuff done, then went and spent $400 on food. OMG!!! I havent spent that much on groceries in ages!!Then another $100 on my medication. Burnt a big hole in my purse!!
I can head back to the library later this morning and get another book to read on the beach this weekend.
