feta cheese

i love a bit of feta cheese on my salad. i thought this was ok because it added some fat to a pretty plain salad (lettuce, tomato, cucumber, fat-free dressing) but now i'm worried it's a lot of calories. Is feta just as bad as other cheese? should i stay away from this?
 
Feta cheese is far healthier than any yellow cheese plus you only need a small amount in your salad to get enough flavour. :)
