Haven't posted in a while...never posted much to begin with but I got laid off & lazy!!!! UGH. I managed to only gain 5 lb back during that time (lost 25) So.. better than where I started last year I guess. However I was eating poorly, just not a lot... no excersize. Mostly depressed because by now I wanted to be somewhere really different. LE SIGH. Anyhow.. been back on the wagon for 2 weeks and lost 7 lbs so feeling slightly better. Can't believe I stayed stagnant though! At least all the new clothes I bought last year still fit.

So annoyed, but reading these forums really helped me keep on track so I am ready to lose 70+ more lbs.. ugh! :cheers2:

Yay for getting back at it! Don't look at it as a failure - think about it as a learning experience! What did you learn about yourself during your journey off the wagon? How can you use this information to help you succeed in the future?
Great job on your loss so far!!

It's weird, I never thought I'd feel great when I'm dieting and losing weight. Whenever I do stumble, I always feel awful. Eating the amount of food I used to just makes me feel awful. This place is the difference maker,I wouldn't be succeeding without it and all the wonderful people here.

Welcome back. I Must say you did really well to only put on 5 pounds in that amount of time. Anyhow, it looks like you are ready for stage 2 so that's excellent and i wish you all the best.

Yeah.. I'm not sure how I only gained 5 lbs back honestly. Didn't step on the scale once in months or count calories.. so it helped when I finally got on and was imagining being 20+ up again it was only 5. Felt a little better about getting in control again. It just stinks to think I could be in a much better place by now if I kept putting the thought into it...but oh well! I have to keep holding myself accountable and like Fluer says, keeping up with the community and seeing everyones progress is so inspiring and it is a difference maker. Hopefully this is the end of it.. I hate to think about going up and down for the rest of my life!! That scares me the most. I'll hopefully be attending grad school for a Physicians Assistant prog. in the next 2 years so hopefully a career in medicine will help me to be all the more aware of my health.

A lost battle is just one step closer to a won war! Kudos to you for surviving such an ordeal with little damage done, and as said, get ready for stage 2! Attending school for 2 years sounds ideal to me, you can control what you eat much better (avoid the fast food!) and you could even join a school gym or sports club!
