Fell off the band wagon

Well- I had a tough week with my tooth (need a root canal pretty bad) so I didn't eat much, at least not during the beginning of the week. But this changed later on. I haven't eaten a ton, but certainly not healthy either. I was down to 166 and now I'm about 167. I know it's not terrible, but I'm still bummed. I haven't been to the gym in over a week because my tooth was just so sore- I even have to take painkillers to sleep! (doctor's orders). So it's not very fun. But- all of this whining aside, I have to get back on the horse. I've been reading my Shape magazines and I got re-motivated. Even if I don't make it to the gym I can still lift weights here and go for a walk with my sweetheart. Well I'm going to go take a nap because I left work early for my dentist appointment, and I am completely exhausted!! Good luck to everyone else, hopefully I can get back on the bandwagon.

Great job everyone!

First off, I would call a week's worth of time "falling off the bandwagon". It's just one week of the rest of your healthy life. Everyone has rough weeks, this probably isnt your first and it wont be your last. It's all about how you react to these weeks. Do you let the slide continue or do you clean up your eating? Your choice.

Next, dont worry about the gym. Get yourself better. I'd hate to see you get hurt and then be out for longer than a week for your tooth to get fixed. Just keep in mind that you eating is that much more important since you are not working out.

If you are exhausted then rest. Your body is telling you something. GET BETTER.

Finally, it's one pound. Go take a pee and you will be back to normal. There are too many factors that go into the scale. Shit, your body is fighting something and is probably holding water. Don't step on the scale to you are better. It can only help to stay off it.

Stay strong and keep up the good work!!!!

Thanks

Thanks guys- You're right, not so much a falling off the band wagon as a- sad that I haven't made it to the gym in awhile. I'm going to get up early and go this weekend though! Can't wait!
