I am a newbie here. I have been lifting weights, treadmill and elliptical pretty seriously (or what I thought was serious) for about 5 months in an attempt to lose weight and tone up. I was going no where really fast. Well I shouldn't say that. I lost 7 lbs and about 13 inches but then actually gained like 2 inches back. So I started working with a personal trainer about 2 weeks ago. By the time he is done with me I feel like I have gotten run over by a truck. He pushes me hard and I am sore for 3-4 days afterwards. I am seeing him for an hour 2x a week. Last time though I felt faint, like I was gonna barf and like my insides were trembling and this lasted for hours. Am I supposed to feel like that? I am very serious about my goals and will do whatever it takes but to tell you the truth it was kinda scary. I didn't have pain or anything....it was like the opposite. I felt like a limp peice of spaghetti.....with nausea. Am I overdoing it or should I just buck up and deal with it.
