Feeling of hunger?

Well, I'm trying to lose some weight.
Every day I carefully select the food I am eating and doing some excercise also.

It is suggested to take about 1500 cals. The big question is - how do You know, how much cals have you eaten? (because I don't want to spend time using fitday.com)

Is it normal to feel a bit hungry throughout the day?
 
Buy a calorie counter book, read the Nutrition lables, and if you eat out go to the resturante's web site and get the calorie count. I was on Fit Day too it lasted about 2 weeks. Great program but who has the time. It is way faster just to buy a notebook and log everything by hand. Once you get used to it. You will pretty much be able to estimate just by looking at foods. I used calorie counting just to make sure I was getting the correct portions in my 6 small meal a day. 1200 to 1500 is where I stayed I was never hungry, I lost 40 pounds, and I have maintained it for over a year now. Do not forget to add your beverage cals. in to your total.
