Are you underweight? Because if you are then you really need to speak with someone about how you feel. You are in the UK so speak with your parents and your GP and they can arrange a counsellor for you.

I know young adults can be a little temperamental but it is not good to wake up every day feeling so bad that you don't want to eat. If these feelings persist for more than a few weeks then you really should speak with your parents and your GP regardless of your weight.

It's not a good pattern to feel bad and then either under or over eat so best to sort this out while you're still young enough to change.

im not underweight my bmi is 24
im not sure what it is but my parents n brother just keep having digs at me all the time not really helping i think i will have to go see doctor really dont wnt to though xx

Regardless of your weight- if your BMI is 14, 24, 34, or 54- what you're talking about sounds like a really unhealthy attitude to have, and is, frankly, incredibly worrying. You need to eat to keep yourself going, even if you're at a higher weight than you want to be. If your feelings about food are so strong that they override natural feelings of hunger and desires to eat, it definitely sounds like a medical issue, as was stated above. You need to see your doctor if you're not eating or you don't want to eat despite needing to.

I'm sure your GP will be understanding and they can put you forward for some counselling support. It's not a big deal, lots of people do it and they can give you someone to talk with face to face who can give you some tools and technqiues to understand and manage how you are feeling.

It's important to learn these things early in life so I also would advise you chat with your GP sooner rather than later.

I totally understand where you're coming from. Sometimes you wake up and you just feel like a blob (even if you aren't one). What you and I and so many others need to
realize is that we feel that way for many reasons. Maybe we aren't eating the right things or have a bad body image.

In any case not eating actually ends up making us feel worse and can lead to binging. Never feel guilty for eating, especially if you know you're fueling your body with the right stuff. Eventually, this too shall pass!

well, when I gulp down a liter of water because I've once more forgotten to drink water the entire day, I feel bloated and weird. But like amy said, feeling disgusted with yourself isn't how you're supposed to feel. Unless you're like, stealing from blind people or something.

Now first of all when people say "you're not supposed to feel that way" Don't take it as "you're doing it wrong", it is rarely your "fault" when you hit emotional snags in life. Fault is actually pretty retarded to even use when dealing with these things, but yeah as others have suggested, if you have GP you like, just tell him/her about it. They'll probably go over a bunch of questions and try to figure out whether its an internal or external thing that is going on. They might tell you to tell your family to STFU or be more supportive, they might tell you to get more sleep, it can be a bazillion things, and internet diagnosis is basically just a stranger on the internet saying something :) so don't take our word for more than that, a stranger on the internet, and go talk to your GP.
