fatigue and muscles soreness after exercise

Hey there! just wanted to ask this question... I just walked 2 miles yesterday and cleaned some, and did yoga and woke up today and felt achy and tired... very achy in the muscles. Is this common? To feel achy and tired after working out? And if so, what things can you do to combat it? Thanks so much!:)

Perfectly normal. When you first start working out you can get VERY sore. As you progress you may always get a little soreness or tightness, but not like in the beginning.

A soak in a hot tub or just a hot bath (maybe with some epsom salt) works great if it bothers you too much

stretch some too. gentle stretching, it will feel good too :)

before you proceed into a serious workout, maybe you should do a little stretching to make the muscles warm and ready for the task ahead. And after you're done with everything, you can just soak into a warm bath with some to relieve your aching body parts.

You have classic DOMS - delayed onset muscle soreness. No real treatment for it and it is inevitable to me. I enjoy the pain knowing that it is making my muscles stronger.

hot bath, massage, streaching ooo sounds so nice. no cure i enjoy the feeling, be walking down the stairs after legs day and just be smiling in agony/extacy. but TLC will help

Your body doesn't seem to be used to this kind of activity or it might be something new to your body. Your muscles might have been stressed. I suggest that you should take a warm bath of probably before going to sleep to soothe the muscles and improve circulation throughout the body.

It is perfectly normal to feel sore after a work-out, especially if you just started exercising. I've been working out for years and I still get sore. One thing I would suggest to help with the recovery of muscles after a work-out easing the discomfort your feeling is to use a Dietary Supplement. A few work out buddies of mine and I all use this supplement made from dehydrated milk called RecovSport by Stolle Wellness. Here i the link to there website if your interested. Its great stuff.
