Does anyone use a digital caplier to measure there BF? is it very acurcurate. I have the manual one that you squeeze and I dont really get any consisent reading.

I use an infra red body fat machine unfortunately they are £3000 +.... I don't trust the Bio-electrical impedance scales as the protocol is too wide i.e you shouldn't eat for 12 hours before the test and you need to be fully hydrated for them to be accurate, also if you are using with them with a female you have to check they are not trying to conceive as there is a possibilty of the electrical current harming the foetus!! Saying that I reckon the digital or even normal calipers are the best, if you know how to measure accurately.
