Bad alliteration aside I was looking for help losing weight on the web and stumbled across this site, and it looks really cool.

I'm 25years old, 6'0" tall and weigh 295lbs and I've been very overweight for my entire life. Nows the time to change :)

My only course of action so far has been riding bike for 30 minutes a night and trying to eat less stupidly. I won't say eating smart, because I haven't figured that part out yet. But that's what I'm here for :D

So time to scrounge around the forum for tips on how to eat healthier, and hopefully some that even a guy that can't cook can use :banghead:

Thanks!

Hello Bob, I have been lurking a few days (not much of a group person in real life but lots of good info here); looks like a lot of good folks. I have a few years and a few pounds on you, same height. No scale so not sure on exact start weight. I woke and and started trying to lose weight a few days ago. Motivator/straw that broke the camel's back was I could not do the amount of work I wanted to do outside this summer at this weight. DFW also, BTW.

Good luck! Be interesting to see how you do. I have seen lots of good info in the nutriton area.

My challege is it is not hard to stop eating; it's very hard to eat just a little to get the proper amount to maintain muscle and metabolism. Obsessive in all things.
