Hey all,
I'm enquiring on what i should do to get rid of the fat around my stomach to get it flat and perhaps build a 6 pack.

I'm about 5'11, 16 years old , 135 pounds

I'm worried about losing anymore weight as i feel 135 is too low.

Any help would be great thanks.

There's no one, two, three, etc... exercise that will get the fat off you stomach... All your success is in your eatting habits, just eat 'healthy' foods, and just stay active especially someone your age...

man how do you have fat on your stomach!? im around 147 lb's and 16, an inch taller mind you hehe...

but thats shocking, i'd expect you already have a natural pack at that weight, i do and mine didn't take much toning to get one either...although it could be improved i suppose...you have to focus on your diet aswell as exercises, but consider, investing in an ab trimmer:

and do plenty of sit ups...there is cable exercises for your lower abs too...

thats all I do,i dont know of any more to build a pack apart from keeping a healthy BALANCED diet...

Bah! Don't waist you time on that Ab Trimmer... It doesn't allow any external resistance besides fatigue which is more endurance based.... Also, you don't want to do sit-ups, crunches, reverse crunches, and other ab exercises would be more benefical.... You need to do more weighted ab exercises to get the muscles more dense.....

Every time you exercise you gain muscle and you loose fat little by little. you are pretty tall girl so 135 is low in my opinion, at least 5 more pounds so start training.

thanks

Thanks guys, I've been dieting for quite a while.
I reckon the reason i don't have a flat stomach is because i used to weigh 224 pounds in March 2005 but have lost it all now due to dieting and cardio training, perhaps i need to tone it more?

They have abs trimmers in most of the gyms in my area, I think its wrong that they are so one sided and dont try to encorage people to work there whole core

I think your best ab workouts are a result of your abdominal muscles working as stabilizers during other exercises. In my opinion, if you develop a well-rounded total body workout, your abs will strengthen accordingly. Adding a good ab isolation exercise twice a week, almost like a superset, is all that is necessary. Then lose the body fat to see the muscle.
