Fat around belly button

I work out with Denise Austin every morning. She alternates areas of the body to work on. My area is butt and belly fat. My upper abs and lower abs do need work, but the middle of my abdomen around my belly button has not seemed to change. I also run and get my cardio in. I understand that different moves work different parts of the abdomen, but how do you target the nasty adipose fat around the navel area?
 
um, it seems ur misinformed about how losing fat works. one thing to know is, "you can't choose what areas to lose fat at" its basically saying, fat goes where it wants and leaves where it wants.

In addition, your diet is of main concern here as well as your workout routine. I have not seen Denise Austin's workouts but, I believe I've had heard of her somewhere lol.

It's good to hear that you are adding cardio to your workout, how long do you usually do it for?

No spot reduction I'm afraid. The appearance of your abdominals has a lot to do with your genetics.
See abs.....reduce fat percentage. Nutrition is a major factor here.....Denise Austin.....well let's just say you might want to up your activity a little bit.
