Fat and Muscle

So, what i have done is i have built muslces over fat. On my stomach I can see definition of like my 4 stomach muslces, but i still know that there is fat there, and now my upper abdomen sticks out. is there anything i can do about this, when i started working out last year, i was unaware that using the weight machines at the gym would make my stomach stick out further and it's really embarassing. please help!

I was reading somthing in the body building forum a while back and someone suggested doing "stomach vacuums". They were complaining how modern body builders have sticking out bellys and how theyve forgotten this simple exercise. All you do is suck in you belly like youre trying to get your belly button to touch your spine. Hold it for as long as you can and repeat a few times. I never tried it so I cant tell you if it for sure works, but might as well give it a try.

Muscle cannot grow over fat. Though we do have fat inside that protects our organs. It's possible that you have grown muscle in the abs, which is great, but still have a ltitle fat left to lose. Also, you could be eating something that is making you bloated.

I don't know what your nutrition and exercise program is like, but eating and exercising for fat loss will bring that tummy down. :) Let me know if I can help.

Eh, I don't know if you grew muscles OVER your fat. It's more likely that you grew stomach muscles and have fat OVER your muscles. I would post your specific workout and specific menu. I'd also post more info about you (age, weight, height, body fat %, etc).
