Thought I'd help by putting some places and information about fast food options that are actually good for your weight loss. Ditch the whopper.
Today, I bring you Extreme Pita (). As you can guess, this place makes pitas fresh. Think of it as subway except as pitas. The great thing is they have a nice line of pita creations that are nice calorie wise.
First, I'm going to say this cause it will be true of almost everyplace I 'review', and that is the sodium count in pretty much any fast food place will be high. It's pretty unavoidable. This place is no different overall so if sodium is a factor for you, you are better off not eating out.
So, I had the Maple Dijon Pita. It's grilled chicken, a blend of greens, red grapes, grape tomatoes, and Maple Dijon sauce. I ate it for lunch and it was GOOD. Lots of flavor and definately filling. I had the large which is a nine inch pita. The calorie count according to the guide () was 393 calories! I was shocked at how low it was. It felt like a 500+ at the least. They make the food in front of you like a subway and you can always alter it. If you are looking for a change of pace from sandwich shops, I think you can't do much worse than this place.
