Far from a newbie but new here and trying to get back into things.

Im 31 years old and have been training on and off since the age of 17-18. In my late teens early 20's I was being trained by 80's Mr Olympia runner up Rich Gaspari and worked at his old gym in Jersey for 3-4 years so the knowledge is there, im just having a real hard time sticking w/ it. I was down to 160 pds and single digits bodyfat. I know all the right things to eat and what excercises/ cardio to do to get it done but i cant seem to mentally put it to all together...Im currently 5f7 and fluctuate between 200-210 pds and even though I dont look fat(still carry some decent size w/ pretty broad shoulders) I still dont feel confortable going to a beach/pool shirtless because of my gut. I had a bit of a drinking problem in the past and have kicked that but I cant seem to regain the will power I once had, life just isnt as easy as it was when I lived w/ Mom going to College. Back then I wanted to be the next Mr. Olympia lol today Im just looking to get muscular and lean. Ive recently rejoined a gym and have been lifting pretty consistent for a mth or so but i cant seem to get the diet and cardio thing down(or sticking to it for that matter). The gym is pretty close to home and work so Im going to attempt to hit cardio first thing in the morning then again after work at night after weight training....along with making my meals the night before and eating every 2-3 hrs...Been out of the game hardcore since the mid 90's so any recent advice on diet, workout or willpower would be appreciated. I dont want this to be another summer running around with my shirt on. All help is much appreciated...thx guys :)
