Family getting pissed off

My family is driving me crazy. They keep getting pissed off because i dont want all the junk they eat everyday. I had a chicken sandwhich on wheat instead of a medium pizza they got the other day. Then they had hot dogs one night. Again I just made a salad. Now they are getting all mad because I never eat with them. Its not my fault if all they eat is crap.

Even when I do eat with them, they load up my plate like its for 3 people even though they know im trying to lose weight. im constaly leaving half of it on my plate.

Then they keep giving me crap that I will never loose weight because I waited to long and i am "to heavy". all this is just making me want to lose it more. I will show them that I can lose.

its tough but you just have to ignore it for a bit. Ive had somewhat the same problem(they're not really "mad"). Keep working at it and when you start dropping weight they'll probably get more supportive

I'm sorry that your family are trying to sabotage your diet and don't believe that you can do it. I'm glad that it is making you more determined to lose weight.
Have you tried sitting them down and having a real talk with them and explain the negative efffect this is having on you.
Are they all overweight also as sometimes it makes people feel bad about themselves when they see somebody else doing something that they really should be doing?
Since I've been losing weight one of my overweight friends has backed right off from me and when I talk to her she always feels she has to make excuses about why she can't do it. I think that seeing that I am losing it makes her feel worse about herself.
Don't let anybody else influence you, you need to do this for yourself and you will feel so proud once the weight is gone against all odds.

It really blows that you're family isn't supportive. But don't change your new habits for them! My family is somewhat similar, if they order pizza hut and tell me to eat some and I don't, I get negative looks from them. But if I do eat it, they will make fun of my weak will. So either way, you can't win. At least that's how it is for my family. So, I've learned to just stick to being healthy. It's been well over a year and a half and just recently I've had some family members thinking about their health and actually want to improve their eating and exercise (or lack of) habits.

Remember this lifestyle is yours, if they don't like it, well then that's just too bad.

Thanks for the support guys. my family isnt really touchy feely lets share our feelings type. that would be super awkward. so i cant really explain to them how they are making me feel. Sorry to those who also have familys that do not support them in the way that they should.

My dad is overweight but my mom isnt. she just recently went on a diet and lost quit abit of weight. im thinking she will gain it back though because now she lost all the weight she thinks she can eat whatever she wants and is pigging out hardcore on trash.
