Exercising with a broken ankle

Any tips on how best to exercise with a healing broken ankle?

Mainly interested in loosing weight and toning legs and butt.

Can anyone help?
 
Nutrition is going to be the biggest factor when it comes to losing weight.

I also would wait for your ankle to heal before getting too into exercise -or get some suggestions from your doctor as to what you can do now...

But really focus on nutrition
 
well, you can do it, but i would advise you to not to put too much of pressure on the ankle. you want to strengthen the muscles and ligaments in your ankle to give you more support, which will in turn help you keep that ankle from turning if/when you are on uneven ground, etc.
I would recommend that you look for a physical therapy program if you have a university near you that might have a sliding scale, or that you make an appointment with an understanding clinic and emphasize you can only afford one session. You may only need one session to go over the exercises
