Exercise whilst injured

Hi everyone,

I started my new regime on Jan 1st, and everything was going swimmingly.
My diet is instantly very controlled and balanced, and I am really enjoying it.
I lost 6lbs in my first week.

I am quite active, even at my current weight, playing footy (soccer for those of you across the pond) 2 - 5 times a week.
With this, I am super psyched about getting thin, fit and active, so I have also set up a home gym with an air walker, a few other exercise bits (resistance bands, yoga ball etc) and am due to have started the P90 programme on Monday.

Unfortunately, I was playing football on Sunday, got my studs caught in the dirt and have twisted my knee. It isn't painful all the time - just feels like it will give way with any twisting movements or weight bearing activity (climbing stairs etc). I also at the same time seem to have tweaked the ankle on the opposite leg. Not sure how - but I think it is some kind of special skill to destroy yourself so thoroughly.

So - long ramble over - I am looking for some help and advice on what I can do to keep myself active whilst I recover. I really want to keep myself focussed, as my natural reaction to this kind of thing is chocolate and comfort foods.

Obviously I can still do things like weights and that for my upper body, but I was wondering if anyone had any bright ideas to keep me off the Dairy milk??

I am hopefully seeing a physio tomorrow, which will give me a better idea of what I have done!

Any and all help, advice and suggestions gratefully received!
