Hello all i was hoping you good people could help me with a issue i am having.

First i will say i have let myself go severely, suffering a heart attack 4 years ago and another stent put in about 3 months ago, then being diagnosed with severe Sleep apnoea.

I need to loose at a minimum 60lb but i am having difficulties with the exercise, i have slight ostio arthritis in my hips and spin and walking any more than a few minutes i am in pain (Burning pain)

I have tried treadmill, with this i can stay on to for 30 to 45 minutes with out issue but on the ground its completely different.

I have tried an exercise bike but my thigh burn really bad after a few minutes and i get slight lower back pain.

I have tried an elliptical trainer and man my legs are like jelly after 3 or 4 minutes

My question is

With the bike and elliptical trainer, i understand that there will be pain at the beginning but what is the best way to break into to it and not do any damage?

I suppose the bigger question will be whats the best way to start excising full stop.

be patient and build up slowly.
I'm severaly overweight and have problems with my lower legs and right foot which hurts badly after too much exercise so i'm trying to be patient and just work my way into this exercising thing!

Some places have programs that are monitored by health care professionals for people with heart or other medical related issues. See if there is one in your area. It might be beneficial to get a personal trainer or doctors advice on the best way to start.
For me I could only run for 10 seconds at a time so I started with that and slowly built up my endurance over time.
