I had Chronic Fatigue Syndrome a few years ago, and while i'm alot better now, i'm still not 100%. Because of this i find it difficult to do cardio exercise to help me loose weight. If i walk at a "normal" pace for more than 30-40 minutes i find it makes me more tired than usual the following day. Any suggestions?

I used to take a vitamin B COMPLEX...it really helped give me more energy!

I tend to avoid anything that might give me "false" energy. Like energy drinks or anything with alot of caffeine in it. I'll have to look up and see how it works. I used to take bee pollen when i needed a bit of a boost, but generally it just makes me tired the following day :(. I think of it as using an energy credit card...you gotta pay it back at some point..sometimes with intrest...

I have done some reading on this about a year back although I was diagnosed with hypothryroidism (extreme fatigue being a main symptom) as we were working on what was going on with me I was reading anything I could get my hands on. The literature was saying excersize is the best thing for chronic gatigue, fibrio and the like, and eventually can start to alleviate some of the symptoms. ITs just that you have to build yourself at a much slower pace, 15 minutes to start maybe more realistic for you...etc. Do you also have joint/mucles pain as well,...as again starting slower and a very gradual building on your routine. Some excersize is better than none. However when starting out a new excersize program,...the body at first does need more rest to adjust to using the enegry, you can best judge extreme fatigue to the body just needing a lil power nap. Good luck and keep at it.
