Hello

This is exactly what I have been looking for! Not sure why I didn't think of it before but anyway I am hoping that this forum will motivate me a bit and will be great to be able to chat to people who are going through the same kind of stuff!

I am currently 249lbs not sure what my goal is as of yet.
I'm not too great at working this site so far :S sure I will get used to it though lol

Hi, I'm new here too! Welcome! It took me 3 try's to get my first message posted. I'm not too good at it either. This seems like a great place to gain support and advice for losing wt.

Wow sorry it's taken me so long to reply!
I think I probably need to lose about 100lbs but will just see how things go.

I have been trying to get up early every morning to do 30 minutes of exercise before work and have been trying to eat right. I lost 6lbs at my weigh in on Friday, so I was very pleased with that!

And yes I hope we can all motivate each other! It's so easy to put weight on but losing it can be murder.

Just curious...how tall are you?? I'm 5'7 and I was at 249 myself about 2 mths ago. I'm down to 228 now....its not so bad once you get started.What kind of exercise do you do?
 
I am 5.9" :)

Well done on your weight loss!! I have been on my cross trainer or exercise bike. This morning I did a couple of sections of a work out video just to mix things up a bit lol :)

I used to do quite a bit of running and hope to get back into that again.

It's so much easier to lose the weight, the bigger you are.

I think this probably helps us, because we tend to see instant results and get a little boost from it.

Thanks Cantona :) I definitely think you're right, if I had only lost 1lb or something in my first week I probably would've given up. Looks as though you have done extremely well with your journey so congratulations! :)

And hey Jesais! Thank you for your support! I did have a little run this morning, not quite back to my former glory which I no doubt expected but I will get there :D
