How's it going everyone? :3
So my current school semester just ended last week and I could honestly feel all the stress that goes along with it just falling off of me. I felt great.
I ended up hopping on my scale to see the damage of not exercising and eating the most delicious unhealthy foods I could all semester long. Mind you I normally am around the 180lbs mark, have been for years (not great at all, I know). But, when I looked between my feet and read 210.8lbs I was shocked! I mean I knew I would have been a little heavier, but not nearly this much! I mean my clothes even still fit the same, maybe just a little more snug but not much.
I have never been this heavy before and it's kind of scary. Things need to change.
So December 13, 2013 I started my omfgIneedtofixthis regimen:
Exercise bike 45+/- minutes per day (not sure how many calories I'm burning)
Treadmill 35+/- minutes per day (I do the programmed workouts and it says I burn about 250 calories more or less -the easiest one-)
Sit-ups 100
push-ups 10 hehe
My diet: ++++4 bottles of water daily++++
Breakfast:
2 eggs, scrambled with or w/o a dab of ketchup
apple or orange or grapefruit
Lunch:
same as breakfast
Dinner:
1 can of tuna -2 servings @ 50cals each
1 serving of peanuts
Snacks throughout the day: (between 2 and 3 per day)
apples
oranges
grapefruit
granola bars
peanuts
cucumbers
So at first I thought I was going to be starving all the time... so not the case. I feel so full constantly and I have to literally force myself to eat 3 times a day. I have 0 cravings, which is so not usual for me because I normally ALWAYS have something to munch on. The exercising I am doing is minimal, I know, but I think its good to start out slow and work myself up to more time done on the equipment and eventually getting back on my bench press, punching bag, jump rope, etc. that's just waiting to be used in the garage. I really think the hardest part of what I've been doing is making sure I actually eat 3 times a day and drinking all that water >.< Normally I don't drink that much of anything in a day, so it's been hard.
My results so far :
As of 12/17/2013 I weigh 198.4lbs
I feel super energized
I feel super full (lol)
++ also I feel kind of warm, physically. I feel warmer than usual haha don't know why.
Questions:
When working out hard, when you feel that muscle and body burn do you stop or work through it?
I mean I did sports for most of my life and running is not a new thing to me but I've never felt that "burn" so just wondering what others do :3
