Excess fat

What is the deal with excess fat? I have heard that for every pound you lose or something it takes a month for the excess fat to go away? Is tis true at all? And is this fat just from the core or all over the body?

Regards.

I have not heard or read anything similar but if you can to point to a credible story on the web or a written source with tests done, it would help getting to the bottom of this.

If you lose a pound, then a pound of something is no longer on your body. I'm not clear on what this theory is, but it sounds like a myth.

Under the right conditions, Fat is metabolised, after which it is no longer fat.

I would appreciate the lesson if anyone can prove this wrong.

I don't even understand the question.

I have a feeling you might be thinking about excess skin during and after fat loss on a somewhat obese person. I'm not saying I have any knowledge about any kind of formula for that either, but like said above, a pound of fat lost is a pound of fat gone.

When I started my transformation, I eliminated 40lbs of true body fat over a period of about 9 months, and never had any problems with loose skin, either. That last 10lbs around the middle was absolutely the hardest, though.
