Excercise late at night?

I'm quite often more awake late at night. Quite often i do my workout about 1 or 2 in the morning. Do u think this would be detrimental or does it not matter?
 
depends on where you live -if you live in an apartment your neighbors really won't appreciate it :)

I find that exercise energizes me - so it takes me longer to get to sleep if I have exercised later at night - but every body is different....
 
It's alright neighbour wise, and it doesn't stop me sleeping.

QUite often i'll do it about 4 o'clock in the day then again at 1 or 2 in th emorning.
 
It doesn't matter when you exercise, as long as it suits your schedule and you are able to get enough sleep. Sleep is important!

Also, surrounding carbs around your workout, pre and post, coupled with protein is important, regardless of time you workout.
 
It doesn't matter. I used to love working out really late at night because I'm all alone and can concentrate. I think what matters daily is only the amount you consume vs. the amount you put out (via working out, activities etc) ..
