Everlast Heavybag/Speedbag Stand

Since basically all the visible support beams and I-Beams in my house are concrete or something "non-nailable" I had to buy a heavybag stand. I bought one from Wal-Marts online store, which suprisingly had the cheapest price. With the Heavy bag set & stand the total was around $220 including shipping; the shipping was also quite fast and cheap. So after a week or so of using this I injured my hand (you can probably find the thread in the martial arts section.) I never did see a doctor about that, but anyways, after recovering from the 'symptoms' I was back at hitting the heavy bag. After a good 2 weeks of punching, the frame snapped. Litterally, part of the frame snapped in half. When I punch, I punch the heavy bag and it actually hits the supporting metal legs (not very thick metal and only a 70 lb bag.) Eventually one of the metal poles just broke in half; the other is bent pretty bad. The thing will probably collapse if I punch it with full strength right now, so I can't use it for a while. I'm going to call everlast in a few days to get a replacement part.

Overall I'd say the product is mediocre, but it broke WAY too fast.

Yeah Ive broken many many chains, hooks and frames. You will do better to build your own and really over build it. The stuff you buy from shops is always weak.
