Hello all,
So this will be my very first post in the weight loss fitness forums and I am excited to read, and share stories with others. So i am currently at 249 lbs, and I am at 5'7 in height. I have lost 11 pounds in the last week and a half due to the fact that I was sick for a few days, and shortly after I decided to go on a detox to cleanse my body of toxins, and give it a reboot again. I am on the second full day of veggie/fruit smoothies and am feeling pretty tired and got a pretty bad headache ( I'm usually a coffee drinker, so I imagine the caffeine withdrawl is a contributing factor). I did have a chicken salad for supper last night, but everything else has been smoothies, water, and vitamins. I have slacked on my exercising, so after this detox is finished, ( should be good to go for tomorrow ) I will be starting my daily walks around the neighborhood, and continuing to supplement one smoothie for either breakfast or lunch. My big plan is too keep moderate exercise going while at the same time eating healthier, and really focusing on getting my proper intake of fruits and veggies. Phase 1 has begun! And I am excited to see how the progress goes over these next few months.
