English Ultimate Frisbee Player Looking For Help!

Hi All,

I'm Male and have been playing ultimate frisbee for about 2 years now. I'm really struggling to make the first team and having spoken to several people have come to the conclusion its purely down to my fitness so really want to improve it to get that first team spot!

I am 6'1" and weigh about 16.5 stone (roughly 230lbs to you americans). I'm not the fittest of beings which is why I have joined this forum. I dislike just "going for a run" as I think its really boring and theres no real goal to it other than just getting to the other end, so yeah anyone who can suggest anything to vastly improve my fitness, core and whatever else you feel I should have for a high intensity sport then it would be greatly appreciated!:D
