Today I woke up saying todays the day to start my life style change. I need to get my eating and exercise under control.

I am 5'8" and I weigh 180lbs, I would like to lose in the next 6 weeks 10lbs, which I think is not a bad goal to have, I would like in total to get back down to 160lbs but I would prefer to take it in 10lb stages. All my weight is around my middle, I have had a very stressful 12 years, life is only just beginning to be good, no debt married to a man who worships me and a son who is doing just great and making me a grandmother in 6 weeks.

My down fall, I dont have will power, why I dont know I have over come so many tough things in life, yet I can help myself I have to eat that biscuit or bar of chocolate, I know I am addicted to sugar.....

I dont buy or eat frozen meals and I very rarely eat junk food as in burgers, but I am very greedy, if I make a chilli or a curry I eat a plate full but then go back for more and I eat until I am so stuffed I could be sick, I love sauces and creamy mashed potato's.

So I guess planning meals seems to be the best way to go so I need to do that plan my weeks meals, and shop for only that..

I definitely think that this is a great start for you. 10 lbs in 6 weeks is an excellent and realistic goal. Good luck girlie!!!!!!!!
 
Sun April 27th

Took the dog for a walk, then went later to the park for a run around with the dog for 45 mins. Food was weetabix, with 2% milk, roast beef and beetroot sandwich, roast beef, potato's, broccoli. Called my mother today, she nearly had me reaching for the chocolate she always manages to upset me one way or another.
 
Monday 28th April

I have not as yet weighed myself as I counted how many times I weighed myself on Saturday, it was 8 times I didnt even know I was doing it, so I am trying to break the habit. I didnt weigh myself yesterday at all which is good.

Danislasttime says 10lbs in 6 weeks is a good goal, so thats good, just need to plan for food.

Today I am going horse riding, thats always a good work out. Chicken for dinner tonight with some veg, lunch is a problem for me as I dont really like bread and I get fed up with eating salad all the time.
 
Monday 1st may

Been really busy not had time to post here, have to start and find the time as it really helps.

I haven't lost any weight, this last week, but have lost according to my scales some body fat %. I am busy trying to sort myself out, like planning for my meals, making sure I make a list of food to buy. I have also been busy getting together my exercise ball and hand weights and all other things making sure I have everything I need to hand. I am making this a life style change not a quick fix.

Food is the hardest for me, so at the moment I am getting used to eating 3 square meals and 2 snacks, then move on from there, I dislike salad, its just not tasty. I don't really like bread so I do get stuck with what to eat for lunch, but I shall be spending quite a bit of time in the food section, I guess if I make a list of all the foods I like and see how that goes.

I am still determined to keep moving forward.
