breakfast-2 weetabix with semi skimmed milk -
lunch - beans on toast -
dinner - chicken breast salad baked potato -(later)
exercise - 40 sit ups + 1 hour exercycle (after i've written this)

I am starting this diary to relay my thoughts out to myself and anyone else mad enough to listen to me.

I'm definitely over half way through this diet now I must be (hooray). However i havent really thought of a target weight yet at all really but at 228 lbs last weigh ill continue to head to the 200's. I started because i hit a massive crisis mid october of last year with my weight problem and just said to myself YOU NEED TO DIET LIKE NOW!!! Since then thats all i've done to be honest.

The crisis was a combination of things really feeling sweaty and smelly all of the time. Heavy breathing going up the stairs, a few jokey comments from work mates, living in joggers and sweat shirts. But the main one to me at the time was absolutely shattering i actually snapped one of my mothers chairs unbelievable. I'm a part time student and on this particular day last october i had a really important exam to sit so on the day mum was taking me and picking me up from the venue. Well the exam went really well, worry over there. So afterwards i sit down in one of her chairs and PRANG snap. My mum god love her always trying to reassure "its a flimsy cheap chair that one....there we are .....(makes adjustments) i've fixed it." She had fixed it as well But the damage was done to my self esteem I KNEW I KNEW metal doesnt just pop out like that unless it's forced.

Well that was almost six months to the day and i've lost 70lb since and the chair lives on fixed by mum but i'm not sitting in it no way. But maybe in another six months i'll review it. Anyway thats it for now will write some more tomorrow keep fighting the war.... Embrace Salad.
 
I'm definitely mad enough to listen...:D 70 lbs so far?? Awesome! I've got 50 gone so far. One small goal at a time, right?

Busy day yesterday

Breakfast- nil (thats not good!!!)
lunch - mushroom soup 2 pieces nimble bread + apple
dinner - fillet of fish, boiled potatoes, salad + not a small glass of wine.
Exercise - at the gym -15 mins rower - 25 mins cross trainer - 25 mins - exercycle.

Very busy day yesterday up early and took wife to work. Then when i got home and after a few coffees i decided to jump straight in to a job i was putting off and paint the front of my house. Not as bad a job as i thought it was going to be actually as it didnt take me that long about two and a half hours my house looks much smarter now. (??? calorie usage here must be more than minimal). However paint work needs a few finishing touches here and there which I MUST NOT PUT OFF LIKE I NORMALLY DO (help me here readers if i havent mentioned this within the next 7 days.)

Studied for about 2 hours then picked my wife back up from work. Began getting texts off my brother mid afternoonish bear in mind he's a good looking boy and an enviable 165 lbs "what r u wearing to the gym later" etc etc Honestly he must think it's a fashion parade rather than a place to exercise. Met up with him later and i wasnt embarressed by seeing him in a gold tracksuit or anything like thank god. Had a relatively good work out it was only my second visit so i'm new to rowing machines and cross trainers but a good sweaty embrace salad did come out of the gym. Dont know whether it's just me but the gym seems to be characterised by distinct groups i.e determined chubby people like me roughly of my age group. Middle aged people not weighty but keeping the heart healthy as they say. The Keep fit addicts and last but not least your show offs you know the ones all the gear, smirking to one another even when they exercise they cant help to me but look and seem smug. I'm happy i refused the temptation to weigh whilst there (i dont have any scales).

Got back home and gave in to the temptation of a huge glass of wine. Couldnt help it im a sucker for chardonnay besides i thought, i'm working the next four nights.

Anyway thats all i got say at the moment more ramblings soon. See you all soon, fight the good fight and embrace the salad!!!!!!!
