hello, y'all!!!! my first fitness.com thread....anyway, onto my question(s). i have naturally muscular legs and arms. not uber muscular, but muscular. there is some extra fat i would like to get rid of on my inner thighs and triceps. and i want to work on lifting and toning my booty, too. i was thinking of walking/jogging/running to help with my thighs. (along with a healthier diet, of course
) but i have read that when you already have muscular legs, doing the regular exercises that a lot of people use to tone their legs will build up the muscle and make them, dare i say, bulky/bigger. i know that my legs will not look like a pro body builder's if i start jogging or do some squats. but i feel that my quads and calves are big enough and i do not want them to get any bigger. so how would i go about making them a bit more on the slender side?? -if possible....i have heard of "elongating" muscles, but i have no idea if this is a myth or fact! i'm not complaining about having natural muscle without trying, i think it looks great. that is why i do not want to make them any bigger! any suggestions?? and what are the best exercises for my triceps without adding more muscle to the rest of my arms/shoulders?? same for my behind, without building up muscle in my thighs. sorry for the novel. thanks in advance!!!
