Hi there!
I'm a college junior who has been losing weight for about 2 years now. I started at 230lbs, and got down to 165lbs over the course of a year or so. I have since gained back about 30lbs, bringing me back up to 202. I am ready to start getting back down again! I have spent too long beating myself up for gaining some weight back. I know that I know how to do this, and I'm finally ready to start trying again.
My goal is to be at 175 by my spring break (mid-March) and then to lose another 10-15 pounds between then and summer. At 165, I still thought I had a little more to lose, but looking back, it was the ideal weight for me. I'm 5'8'' and I was very comfortable at that weight. The first time around, I learned so much about how to love myself the way I am, and to see that I was beautiful no matter what. I think that's what has stopped me from starting up again-- I've felt better about myself at this weight than I did the last time I was 202. That said, I'm 20 years old and I can feel the strain of the weight in a way that I never did before; my knees hurt, I lose breath, all that stuff. So, this weight has got to go!
I'll be following Classic Weight Watchers and working myself back up to 5 days a week at the gym. I definitely need motivation and support in a way that I didn't the first time, so please stop by here and help me out! I think that last time, I lost 65 pounds out of sheer self-hatred induced determination, but this time I want to be a little more positive.
Thanks for reading guys!
