Hi fellow weight watchers
Ive posted on this site before but someone suggested I start a diary which is a fantastic idea. Not only will it be a little extra motivation, I may be able to help others. For 7 weeks, my best friend Dee and I were on a mission(and still are) to lose weight. We were exercising like crazy and although eating better, didn't see much of a change other than slight toning up. This was so disheartening as I wanted to lose at least 5kgs(11lbs) for my sisters bday weekend away and I only lost 1.5kgs :-( I'd lost weight before, so why was I struggling so hard this time around?? I realized that while I was eating better, it was still probably more than what I was supposed to be having for my body weight. I was probably eating around 1400 - 1500cals a day, rather than the 1200 I was supposed to be eating and only burning around 300cals a day in exercise.
So, I decided I needed to get real and make myself accountable on a daily basis. I wrote up a 12 week Body Blitz program which I started yesterday.
This isn't an easy road for anyone to take. People have different obstacles in their lives that make it even harder. When I find my motivation lacking I just remember to keep my eye on the prize and remember why I'm doing it. Elle XO
