Eliminate calorie containing beverages!

One of the first moves one should make on their journey of dropping fat!
Although easier said than done, the first moves we should make are is to eliminate calorie containing beverages such as soda, juice, gatorade, and beer!

A VERY NICE alternative that I just tried and enjoyed was SUGAR FREE Hawaiin Punch!

It sounds contradictory but its great!

This is very true. The only thing you should be drinking is water. You might not like it at first, but you'll get used to it. It's easy to do and the weight will drop if you curently drink a lot of juice, coffee drinks (not coffee), energy drinks, soda, etc..

Iced tea and coffee have pretty much zero calories if you really want something that isn't water.

I posted some stuff about how our bodies do not 'register' calories from liquid as effectively as it does solids. Therefore, people who drink a large portion of calories tend to overconsume since the calories in liquids don't 'fill them up.'

Of course! Water is king! but alternative are nice... I like choosing the lesser of evils and finding middle ground sometimes.

What about things like juice (the good stuff, not the 10% kind)? It has calories, but a lot of other good stuff too.

And I'm horribly addicted to diet coke. I make sure I drink my recommended water intake, but I still drink several a day. Is that detrimental at all?

For the juice if you really want it... work it in your calories... it just means you'll have like 200 calories less for food. thats a whole frickin chicken breast... personally I'll pass :)

I'm sure diet soda has its issues theres been studies of this and that and all that jazz, but i drink em. They have no calories and therefore directly wont cause you to go over on calories. as far as the studies on mental stuff, or adverse health related I have no clue :)
