Found a recipe online that looks good for a EFA Protein bar, like a pre bed bar... Was wondering if you guys could help me tweaking it. Here is the recipe:
Recipe:
Ingredients
1 cup peanut butter
4 cups dry oats
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350, mix ingredients well.
2. Spread evenly in greased or non-stick pan.
3. Bake until oats soften and color is good.
4. Gently cut into bars by pressing knife down but not drawing knife alone. This is best done after bars are half cooked and again just before cooling.
5. Allow to cool completely before storing in individual servings. Freezes well.
6. Makes ~30 1/4" thick bars. One serving is two bars.
Was wondering how many scoops of protein should be added to it? I want it to have 15-20g of protein, but to stay below 200 or 250 cals (Im cutting). So, could you guys help me tweaking the recipe?
